Lisa-Michelle is an adjunct professor at Long Island University in the Communications - New Media Department, teaching Emerging Media Applications and New Media and Society.
In 2014, Lisa-Michelle completed her certificate in positive psychology through the highly acclaimed program with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar at the Kripalu Center and Wholebeing Institute.
Diversity, challenge, and satisfaction have been driving forces for Lisa-Michelle. She has enjoyed more than 20 years of exciting leadership positions at Hilton International, HEI Hotels, UJA-Federation of New York, and Admaster Communications in human resources, marketing, communications, business development, training, and coaching — providing her a unique insight into today’s opportunities and challenges.
Lisa-Michelle served as a member of the International Coach Federation-New York City (ICF-NYC) Board of Directors, Long Island Coaching Alliance Executive Board, Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) Mentoring Committee, and International Coach Federation (ICF) Social Media Ambassador Group. She currently is a member of ICF, ICF-NYC, AWNY, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), and Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM).
Lisa-Michelle believes in the importance of serving the community, participates in volunteer programs, and offers a variety of pro bono workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions.
Lisa-Michelle received her coaching certification through the Coach Training Alliance, a ICF-accredited training program based on rigorous experiential learning. She earned her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University (SUNY) and her MBA from the University of Derby, completing her thesis in organizational behavior.
